Robyn Openshaw when he was a teenager. I struggled a lot with body image in adolescence, and the desire to feel beautiful too wanted to feel healthy.


So I was always looking for the secrets to a body felt safe walking in!

The idea is to find the right combination of fruits, vegetables and green to throw in a blender to make a delicious shake and nutrient-rich drive, the drive motors of your body! The potential benefits and proven to drink a green drink on a daily basis are awesome!

  • The immune support / reinforcement
  • huge percentage of daily and need for vitamins, minerals, antioxidants
  • energy boost that lasts
  • The fiber that you do not get from juice
  • feel 'light' 'heavy' verses
  • cells happy!

Green smoothies are great at any time during the day, but they are particularly excellent for breakfast. Our body goes through natural cycles throughout a day in which it focuses, respectively, in these three processes: removal, appropriation and assimilation.

In the morning we usually find in the way our body removal and focuses on the release of toxins and cleaning.

Eating a heavy breakfast kitchen can often be counterproductive for this cycle. Think about how you feel if you are trying to clean the kitchen and before you finish someone comes and starts throwing food to make a great meal. The first time I made a green smoothie was disgusting. I do not mix well, so it was something heavy and it was a little too ambitious in the percentage of green that I added.

Fortunately our taste buds adapt over time. Try starting with 20% and 80% vegetables fruits. Then change gradually until it is finally drinking 50/50. Baby steps!

would recommend getting a good blender. Someday my dream is to get a Blendtec . They are fantastic. Their milkshakes will feel like Jamba Juice. But let's face it, a good portion of us do not have that kind of money to go around, so just do the best you can. Put the vegetables and mixing them for a bit you can first help get rid of the pieces.

Now that I have a husband who please have put much more energy in VARIETY. Do not get stuck in a recipe. Try new things! Mix new colors! If you do your family drink something that tastes too weedy one day, make a delicious one the next day. Find your favorites list and have fun getting creative.

some of my favorite recipes:

# 1

1/2 cucumber
1 whole lemon (bulges end just cut)
1 handful of spinach
1 banana
2 tablespoons powdered super green foods
1 tablespoon of organic flaxseed power
1 cup pineapple frozen
2 tablespoons of organic yogurt
coconut milk / water

# 2

handfuls of spinach and kale
1 banana
1 -2 cups frozen berries
1 whole lemon (end bumps just cut)
2 tablespoons organic chia seeds
Water

# 3

1 cup carrots
2 tablespoons of powder organic flax
1 teaspoon bee pollen
1 whole lemon (end bumps just cut)
2 oranges
1 banana
few slices of grapefruit or 3 drops of grapefruit oil
2 tablespoons organic yogurt
water / coconut milk

# 4

1 mango
1 cup carrots
1 apple
1 banana
water / coconut milk
