Someone left a comment on the recent article I wrote about " 5 characters of an energy vampire " saying that I am "is not a very enlightened person". In fact, I am very grateful to that person from that comment made me think - what it really means to be enlightened and what conditions could characterize an enlightened person are

Throughout my life I have read many books. inspiring, he met many wise teachers and took several self-development courses (even started my own practice). One of the main objectives for acquiring that knowledge was to reach the state of enlightenment or at least know how to get there.

One of the best descriptions of a truly enlightened person I found in the teachings of Don Huan. He described the conditions of a solitary bird. There were only 5 conditions described in the books, however, it seems that the additional sixth missing.

"... fly to the highest point."

The highest point is the ultimate experience of happy love. Some may characterize it as unconditional love, however, the highest point is beyond the expression of unconditional love. The last that is actually quite cold. It's like being on top of the highest mountain and any movement will make it fall into the abyss of the past or be slid by the avalanche of the future. The highest point is the state of loving everyone, embracing higher consciousness, but also take responsibility for the realization of their own potential in the way it was intended by nature.

Many people are afraid of being truly alone with themselves and to dig deep to find the answers inside. They are trying to find the guarantee of others for their own existence and their own truth. True I however, can only be discovered through the journey of self discovery independent and this trip may seem very lonely at times. Seeking answers outside is like being a banana and asking a plum or even another banana how their unique tastes of banana. You are only you and is important to be in peace and true to himself in the path of self-discovery.

Establishing priorities is important in life. By establishing one of the main priorities to always take the highest road (pointing skyward) and always take into account the potential that was given to you by your own Spirit (or Higher Self) it is one of the keys to attain enlightenment. In simple terms, it is channeling your higher self and manifesting the information received through the realization of their own potential. The ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to any changes is becoming a vital tool for survival in society that is moving towards the informational paradigm skill. In order to be able to communicate effectively with others who do not need to know how to play different roles and accept the truth of others, even if different from ours. Our own colorful truth is for us to experience and showing others that are able to refine it. As in nature chameleon moves by changing the color of their skin, we can move throughout life. With each step we can accept the color that currently fits better with the environment and with our next step we can tailor our colors again if necessary. The ability to change effectively exterior colors or our role in life helps to evolve our unique colors inside.

"... sing very softly."

Displaying and trying to save everyone is one of the roads to nowhere. As one of the saints said, "you will save thousands around you will be saved". By saving yourself and find your own unique way to realize their potential it is showing an example for others and there is really no need to brag about it. Save others is aggressively imposing its own truth to others and, finally, it can only do harm. The truth is that often speaks softly and only those who are willing to listen really can hear it.

"... when the time is right, knowledge has to be shared."

Lighting is not a kind of point in time and space that can be reached and then relax. Attain enlightenment is a process. There will always be those who know less than you and there will always be those who know more. Each of us has our own unique experience and share their talents with others help to grow and refine their own talents. Also, teach others is one of the best ways to keep learning new things himself.

One thing remains true, if and wonder about their purpose in life, about how you can discover and realize the full potential that was given to you by nature, you are on the right track.
