These stories are transmitted from generation to generation, rich tapestries and explanations of why certain things are the way they are today. In the beginning there was nothing. Only darkness everywhere. Suddenly, a thin disc appeared in the darkness and into the disc sat a man with a small beard, Creator. As if waking from a nap, creator rubbed his eyes and when he opened them again and began to look around, began creating streaks of light in all directions.

Then the tarantula, Dipper, wind, Maker-rays, was created and Rayo Rumbler. The four gods shook hands mixing their sweat together, and as creator rubbed his hands by combining all their sweat, a brown ball, the size of a bean, fell from them.
He kicked and expanded, each of the Gods took turns kicking the ball is bigger and bigger, and then told creator of wind to blow it up even more. Then the tarantula was given a black cord, attached to the ball and crawled eastward, pulling as hard as he could. This is repeated with a blue south cord, a yellow rope to the West, and a white cord to the North, the expansion of the Earth more and more.
Creator rubbed his hands again and did not appear Hummingbird . He asked her to fly around Earth to see what he could find. He reported that everything was fine, and there was no water for the West. However, the earth kept rolling and bouncing the Creator made four black, blue, yellow and white to support the earth positions. Wind carried the four posts, placing them

Earth was a large island, floating above the seas and suspended by four ropes attached to the sky, representing the four sacred directions. All animals lived in the sky and need more space, so they sent water beetle to find room in the seas.
was immersed in the bottom, reaching the sludge at the bottom of the sea, and as he brought is above the water surface immediately began to expand, making the earth. However, it was too soft, damp for animals living.
The great Galun'lati Buzzard flew to look at the earth and the wind of its mountains and valleys created wings. The land hardened by the wind too, so animals moved to live in.
However, it was still very dark, so the sun stood still, and sent him on a path from East to West sharing light for everyone. The Creator said to the plants and animals on earth they had to stay awake for seven days and seven nights. Only a few animals were able to complete this task, including the owl and the mountain lion were rewarded with the power to see at night. Only a few plants accomplished the feat including cedars and pines, and were rewarded by being allowed to keep their leaves during winter.
Finally, people were created. Comanche One day the Great Spirit swirling dust collected from four directions to create people. It was formed from the earth and had the strength of strong storms. Unfortunately, at the same time, a change demon form was created. The Great Spirit drove him into a bottomless pit, but the pursuit of revenge, the devil took refuge in the tusks and stings of venomous creatures.
