We Are the Universe Becoming Aware of Itself
Jocelyn Mercado Pachamama AllianceWaking Times
"Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself through our ears, the universe is listening to its harmonies are witness through which the universe becomes conscious of his glory, of its magnificence ".. -. Alan Watts
"you're not in the universe, are the universe, an intrinsic part of it. Ultimately, you are not a person but a meeting point where the universe is becoming conscious of itself What an amazing miracle ". -. Eckhart Tolle
Our responsibility since its inception
the ancient wisdom says that humans were created to be the guardians of the Earth. We were put here on this planet in order to care for their plants and animals, to protect its natural beauty, as a sign of respect and appreciation for all the abundance that the Earth gives us every day.
scientists are now discovering that everything in the universe vibrates at a frequency or another. That includes humans. Think heartbeat, breathing, their cycles of wakefulness and sleep. These are vibrations. All things vibrate differently , so they may not be able to feel the vibrations of a rock or a tree as easily as we can feel the natural rhythms of other similar creatures to us: Heartbeat a dog, the rhythm of a galloping horse, the hum of a bee.
the ancient wisdom, and many indigenous people today, testify to the fact that even inanimate objects have a vibrational energy. Even modern scientific discoveries, such as the theory superstrings , support the idea that the vibrations are at the center of all existence. The vibrations are there, but in modern culture are not taught to sharpen the senses that can detect this type of energy. And so for most of us, it goes unnoticed. But if we stop to think for a minute, we can begin to recognize the ebb and flow of the natural world around us. Flowers cycles of opening and closing of birth and death, tides, migration of birds, weather patterns bike from the sun to rain and back to the sun, the seasons, the orbit of the Earth around Sun, although the expansion and contraction of the universe, they are all vibrations, in smaller or larger scales.
Arkan Lushwala, in his book city and Jaguar Black , states: "
[Humankind was created] with the mission of caring for the rest of creation through the power of your heart and its ability to produce refined vibrations ... keep alive the memory in your heart. and sign it back to everything that lives became his gift, his mission, and the foundation of a beautiful way of life. "humans were given the responsibility of all the vibrations of the Earth. It was our honor and the task of keeping the universe humming with essential life force literally.
how our ancestors were concerned about the Universe
the ancient humans felt (and many people today feel indigenous) burning a responsibility to show respect, honor and gratitude to nature, the universe, and with Mother Earth, who gave them life. And so, they created rituals involving singing, dancing, fire, and different types of prayer. These activities raised the vibration of Earth and all life. His actions, carried out with great love and gratitude in their hearts, reinforced and strengthened the forces of nature around you. In turn, the Earth and the Universe protection and support to humans, sharing with them the abundance of existence.
"It is commonly known by the natives that high frequency vibrations activate awareness, nurture what is hungry or weak, heal what is sick, and invite the brightest forces of nature. " - Arkan LushwalaSome cultures also reflect this responsibility in their buildings
The ancient Egyptians built the massive pyramids, the construction of which was virtually impossible based on the technology of its time.. These buildings were aligned with the constellations and bears the name of bright sunlight . Lushwala the theory that humans who designed the pyramids of Egypt and the ancient temples in Guatemala, Peru, Mexico, and elsewhere were creating "sacred mirrors to produce and freely share high-frequency vibrations."
"they built a world on Earth, it was like a mirror could reflect the cosmic dance itself and resonate, and where all beings could receive food from this vibration." - Arkan LushwalaAnd so, we know from the wisdom of these people who lived thousands of years ago, we as humans on Earth, they share an intrinsic responsibility to protect and care for the earth.
we are failing as caregivers
But today, due to a global economy driven by wealth and greed, humans are destroying the environment and this natural balance of give and take between man and nature. Overall, worldwide, we are taking of the Earth much more than we are turning your through respect and love.
At the same time, indigenous cultures around the world, groups that keep the ancient wisdom and in many cases still practice ancient healing rituals that are so desperately needed are disappearing. For example, the National Geographic states that 20% of the Amazon rainforest has been cleaned in the last 40 years, and another 20% could be lost over the next 20 years. The areas being cleaned include the ancestral territory of many indigenous tribes who depend entirely on the surrounding environment for its food, water, medicine, and general health and wellness. As these people are increasingly threatened, their populations decline and traditions are diluted as they are exposed to the modern world. Their young can operate in traditional language, songs and prayers for a modern education and ability to speak Spanish or English. And as older generations die worlds of ancient knowledge are lost or abandoned.
What happens when these important rituals are lost? What is the effect on the universe, when fewer people who let themselves know the old ways of singing and dancing in honor of the earth beneath our feet and the animals and plants that provide our food?
Is that the change in the core of what is happening on Earth now?
says Arkan, "When I forget to nourish life forms that nourish us, the whole being to decay and lose its luster. mankind has consumed millions of tons of resources taken from the planet over the last decades ... there is no established practice or tradition used to compensate for the Earth for all that has been taken from her. "
What can we do to reconnect with the Earth and restore the bright vibration of life, and give power back to our world when people have already taken so much? For if we can find a way to give back to Earth, then she will surely have more wealth to share with us, and man can live in increased prosperity (wealth of the mind, body and heart) instead being trapped in endless war, greed and fear as much of the world today.
Our Responsibility Today
evolutionary Activism it is an upward movement based on the idea that we, as human beings, we are aware of evolution and our place in the circle of life. We are becoming aware of himself universe. Ancient wisdom tells us that we are destined to be caretakers of the Earth, and thus our conscience leads us to an extraordinary responsibility to create a better world for all beings.
Bill Twist, co-founder and executive director of the Pachamama Alliance, referring to the late ecotheologian Thomas Berry says:
" Thomas Berry says that the great work that we are facing at this time of evolution is that our species the transition from being a destructive presence on the planet to a human relationship in the land of mutual support are made.Throughout the world today, the advocacy groups transformative social change are already affecting our world significantly. Movements like Good Life and Deep Ecology are asking for a change of the current paradigm of respect for nature; a shift away from consumption and consumerism and a more holistic view of the place of humans on Earth.
... to really engage with the questions of creation of a human relationship on earth each other to improve, it will require tremendous courage, tremendous chutzpah, tremendous commitment to reach the essence of what must be coupled with ".
What role you will play? What talents, knowledge and deep passion felt for his cause, will have to carry out to our more prosperous, just and sustainable?

Finally, consider this poem people Teton Sioux, which expresses very well his old relationship with the land.
love of the landthis article (we are the universe becoming aware of itself) was originally created and published by pachamama.org .
older people literally came to love the land, and they sat or reclined on the floor with a feeling of being near a fountain of motherhood. It was good for the skin to touch the earth, and the elders likes off the moccasins and walk barefoot on the sacred land.
Their tipis were built on earth and their altars were dirt. Birds flying in the air fell upon the earth, and that was the final home of all things that lived and grew.
The soul was relaxing, strengthening, cleansing and healing. This is why ancient India still sits on the ground instead of leaning away from its life-giving forces. For him to sit or lie on the floor is being able to think more deeply and feel more acutely.
You can see more clearly into the mysteries of life and get closer kinship with other life on it .
- Chief Luther Standing Bear , Teton Sioux, born 1868
