Raw Egg and Cooked Egg Nutrition

egg has 72 calories. If you like to have fried eggs, the calories will depend
on the amount of oil that you use to fry the egg.
Both raw and cooked eggs also have different numbers of fats. Obviously,
the cooked egg, in this case if you fry it, the numbers of the fat is around
6.8gr. But, for raw egg, the number of the fat is around 4.8gr.
However, although raw eggs have less calories and fats, it is said that
people will have to face more health risks when eating raw eggs than cooked
egg. It is because egg can be easily contaminated by bacteria called
salmonella. If you are eating the contaminated one, you probably will
experience food poisoning. Research shows that if you cook your egg, the bacteria will be
dead. Therefore, it is safer for you to consume cooked egg than raw egg. Other
ways to eat healthy egg is by boiling or scrambling the egg. Additionally eating raw eggs, especially
egg whites can lead to Biotin deficiency syndrome. This syndrome is caused by a
substance called avidin. If the avidin and biotin form a bond, then our body
will not be able to break it. Overall, eating cooked egg is highly recommended
since it can break avidin and you will be able to avoid salmonella poisoning.
