There was a time in my life when I hated eating a breakfast. Put food in your mouth first thing in the morning was almost as unattractive as the use of high heels work, though often I forced myself to do both. These days I can not wait until breakfast! I can not say what's changed, but I think it has something to do with all the delicious options for breakfast herbal. using cherries and mangos in my chia porridge, for a sweet naturally, but feel free to use any fruit you like. I also used a hazelnut butter vegan chocolate, but you can also use almond butter or my chocolate sauce easy crudes 2 minutes in my last post. Or leave it out. preparation 10 minutes, refrigerate 1-8 hours
makes 1-2 servings
- almond milk 1 + 1/4 cups sugar (I love using homemade almond milk!)
- 3 tablespoons chia seeds
- 3-4 tablespoons of oats
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- couple drops of almond extract (optional) syrup
- 2 teaspoons maple or sweetener of choice (optional)
- handful of sweet cherries, pitted
- 1 mango, peeled and crushed
- sauce raw chocolate, raw almond butter or hazelnut butter vegan chocolate
- other toppings of choice
Instructions:
Combine first 6 ingredients in a glass jar with a lid. Give it a shake or stir to mix. Shake gently after about 5 minutes to prevent clumping chia seeds. Usually a third shake again a few minutes later to give, just to be sure. Then let hang on the refrigerator overnight. I've even eaten after an hour and it was delicious! So if you forget to do before going to bed, and he wants it in the morning, go for it! If the mixture is too thick after setting overnight, add a splash of almond milk and stir to clarify.
Capa fruit and oats chia alternately in another jar and top as desired. Some other ingredients that I like
- granola
- - nuts, almonds, walnuts, cashews
- seeds - sunflower seeds, pips
- fragments cocoa
- coconut shreds
- nuts
