We are now living in one of the most important periods of time in human history. Our global species is at a turning point, actions and decisions we make together in the coming decades will determine the path to humanity (and all life on our planet) leads far into the future either towards greater harmony or chaos, stability or destruction.
If the television is turned on, the news does not sound good. The media our fears, warning of global warming, terrorism, racism, inequality of wealth, economic instability and ecological collapse feeds.
While most of these problems are real, what the media (and our leaders) do not understand is how these issues are all symptoms of the "advanced" destructive forms called civilizations see the world and They behave. That the way to solve these problems requires that we grow (as a species), cultivation of a deeper level of wisdom, compassion and creativity.

our children and grandchildren's future depends on our species become less materialistic, fearful and violent, more generous, peaceful and united. It requires billions of people "wake up" a deeper sense of unity and love for our human family and the natural world that supports us.
Mother Earth needs us to mature, to transform from a selfish species like caterpillars (which consumes resources without thinking), butterfly-like beings more spiritual, which behave wisely, dance among the flowers and take the joy of living lightly.
The time has come for our species to evolve our consciousness, to open our hearts to question the predatory behavior and mechanistic thinking of our most technologically advanced warriors civilizations.
For thousands of years people in Western cultures they have been struggling with the illusions we've spun from our dualist "us against them" mentality and belief systems. It's like we've been dreaming of a shared nightmare together, based on predatory and feudal ways our societies have been organized, rooted in the way we live and think.
Through the centuries, the foundation of Western civilization has been based on the ideas of separation and earlier superiority- men, women below; former kings, peasants down; human beings above, below nature; etc.
have built walls of separation in our hearts and minds, the sense of sin and neglect, in the belief that our entire species was "kicked out of Eden" for heaven God who lives far away.
with the dualist thought came an emphasis on linear time, our consciences locked in the mental projections of a desired future or feared, an imagined and idealized history.
When you lose in these linear projections became less aware of the magical nature of each moment, blind to the beauty, value and mystery of the here and now. This is how schools teach our children to think and feel, how they were stunned and mesmerized our ancestors.
This way of thinking grew mad civilized humanity of history circus, hostile cultures of race and nationalism and identity, religion as truth, militarism as a method, the acquisition of wealth and power (by a ruling elite) as the organizational goals of our economic and political systems, the unquestioned materialistic paradigm guide our way of life.
It is manifested by the appearance of empires obsessed wealth seeking power and domination in the Middle East and Europe. dualistic thinking led to witch hunts in the Renaissance, Europeans coming to conquer the "New World" - believing themselves superior to the natives, steal their land. Then go to Africa where they kidnapped and enslaved the people, stealing their resources and dragging them across the oceans.
Through the centuries reductionist and compartmentalised thinking has led to all our most difficult problems-with racism, sexism, nationalism, slavery, human trafficking, organized crime, alcoholism , drug abuse, obesity, prostitution, genocide and all our wars.
For thousands of years, individual artists, poets, prophets and sages they have been trying to help human beings "civilized" awakening of our illusions, to let love and wisdom guide us in instead of materialism and fear.
from Jesus to Buddha, from Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" to Thoreau's "civil disobedience", poems by Whitman and Blake, Victor Hugo's "Les Miserables", the Van Gogh paintings and forward through time with the "Wizard of Oz" Pink Floyd's "Dark side of the Moon," Led Zeppelin "Stairway to Heaven" and James Cameron "Avatar" ... the message of love it has been clear.

There was a great creative explosion of accomplishment and vision in the 1960s, but still the spirit of crushing institutions, lifestyles materialistic mechanistic and unquestioned assumptions of the past continued to exercise a powerful hypnotic force.
With the rise of new technologies and global industrialization our lifestyle of consumers have dominated rivers, mountains and forests that surround us. During the past five decades we have been destroying the ecosystems of nature at an astounding rate.
Why has it been so difficult for humans to change?
Partly, I think, it is because the Matrix "civilized" will do everything possible to avoid a shutdown. Our dominant institutions are designed to acquire wealth for those who have the power to maintain control, to defend, expand and perpetuate its existence. As the immune system of a body, attacking these systems directly only it reinforces them, leads to hostility and violence.
Mostly, however, I think we have not changed as a species because many of us are still hypnotized. first identifying our sense of self with names, race, race, religion, gender, nationality or political perspective.
Looking pleasurable experiences, wealth, status and material possessions; mistakenly believing that these will bring us happiness and that the only way to solve complex problems is to "defeat the opposition."
What most of us have seen is that we are not these social and cultural roles we imagine ourselves to be. And those who have limited US- darkness and creative suppression- historical systems may have been exactly what we needed to transform our minds, let our fears and our cultural ideas transcend limited identity.

We are living in human form. The descendants of the stars and galaxies, children of the oceans and forests, the creative expressions of nature. As part of this planet like rivers, trees, mountains and butterflies.
As more and more of us awaken that deeper sense of identity will be more easily able to transcend the old patterns of thinking and beliefs. Systems observing nature closely, we studied its forms, can rewrite and erase old programming.
To truly bring to the destruction of humanity to truly transform the world-a deeper wisdom has to come from within first. As individuals, we each must "be the change" as Gandhi said. We need to free ourselves first, transform our ways of thinking, feeling and behaving.
Then join others who have awakened, with the wisdom of our integrity and creatively apply to everything we say and do, in all fields of human activity. Economy, entertainment, technology, education, art, music, poetry, law, medicine, agriculture, politics, transportation, energy that everything can be transformed (and should).
What is rising now is the realization that we are not solitary individuals who had believed ourselves to be. We are expressions of universal life, Children of Earth. We are the "Leaves of Grass" Walt Whitman spoke of voices - Awakening of Eden, the great turning tools.
