8 Common Traits Among Partners That Lead To Long Lasting Healthy Relationships
Relationships are a beautiful part of life. Whether you are romantic or just friendly, connecting with another human being is undoubtedly one of the best experiences that life has to offer.Of course, within relationships, as with so many other things in life, change is inevitable. I doubt there are many of us, if any, that have remained exactly the same pair and / or nucleus of friends along most of our lives.
Despite this seemingly natural volume of business, which is what you have certain relationships that makes them last longer than many others?
I have come with 8 signs which I think is a great sign that a particular relationship, it worth having, but be sure to pay attention to the last I mention, since alone can override all other points, and in my opinion, is the most important.
1. You are truly yourself
There are many people who find a lot of value in the idea of compromise, but when it comes to give up elements of it to please or maintain a relationship, I personally do not feel it is very healthy.
The best and often longer lasting relationships are those in which both sides can easily be themselves without fear or facing trial, ridicule, or pressure to change.
We all know that when we are being false, it is therefore up to us to see first reason we're being fake and then decide whether or not it is our true self belongs in this relationship.
2. During the comparison
I also made this point as part of another article I wrote earlier this year entitled 9 common features of Happy People (which they do not speak) and do it again because I feel that definitely applies in the field of great relationships.
The best relationships are those in which comparisons based on the ego, are thrown and replaced by genuine happiness for the achievements of the other person.
Instead of putting a face showing his pleasure for the other person when they get their dream job or land a hot date, the best relationships are those in which you actually feel happy for them.
3. You lift each other
lthough a lot of "comfort" can be found in each other wallow a particular experience (complaint) or behavior (such as drinking), the most valuable relationships are those in which each individual helps another climb of difficulties.
This help can come in the form of truly listening, providing reminders, or a variety of other ways, but no matter how it always is doing everything possible to ensure that the other person is caught in a state unhealthy ongoing.
Although the action of change ultimately has to come from the person caught in it, the partners most valuable relationship remind them, and help them find that power.
4. The differences are not a deal breaker
Many relationships are built outside the similarities, and for obvious reasons. It would be much easier for me to find common ground, interests, and compatibility with someone as I enjoyed playing sports, movie making, and public speaking than they would be for me to do the same with someone who enjoyed to stay inside, painting and scrapbooking.
Despite this common ground, differences inevitably arise, even in the most compatible nature of relationships, and those that are worth keeping tend not let those differences come between them.
A great relationship is one in which the time spent by one person doing what they love that actually looks as valuable as the other person as quality time together -. Even if that passion is living with another person
5. the past is the past
If asked to explain one of our most cherished relationships most of us quickly turn to a number of memorable moments to help paint the image of how close the connection really is.
As impressive as reliving the past can be, the best relationships tend to be those who stay in the present moment. This is particularly useful to overcome the challenges the two of you have faced at a given point in time.
Instead of always keeping past transgressions or problems against them, if only quietly in the background of a connection apparently now without problems, the option of letting go of the past and being in the present allows people to more fully enjoy all that the other has to offer.
6. No Mind Games
In particular, in the field of romantic relationships, a lot of people love the excitement and uncertainty that comes with trying to understand the other person, often botch several times along the way.
Despite this, the most valuable relationships tend to be those who no longer have any mind game. Both they know who the other, the love for being that way, and each can be himself talk comfortably without unnecessary mind.
7. An extension of human experience
As with # 2, my 7th signal also appeared in my other article and for good reason. I think the best relationships are those in which both people view the relationship as an extension of human experience and not the basis of their happiness.
The more we depend on others to provide compliance us more we stick impede be truly independent, and ultimately the greater pressure that the relationship has to operate within.
is often when relationships are not on target to fill a gap in particular, or to make us feel a certain way, that most of the truest and most valuable relationships are formed.
8. Knowing that can end at any time
This may sound like a particularly morbid way to end a list another cheerful way, but I really think that the best relationships are those in which both people recognize and are at peace with the fact that could change, and possibly even end at any given time.
This understanding, in my opinion and experience, paving the way for a freedom that ultimately makes a list of the deeper variety available.
is not to say that every relationship must come to an end at some point, but this understanding gives, and the two agents and freedom to fully explore what conforms to.
