A heart attack happens when the flow of oxygen-rich
blood to a section of heart muscle suddenly becomes blocked and the heart can’t
get oxygen. If blood flow isn’t restored quickly, the section of heart muscle
begins to die.


Heart attack most commonly occur during the blockage
of heart nerves. It most commonly occur as a result of coronary heart disease
also called coronary heart disease.


A less common cause of heart attack is a severe spasm
of a coronary artery. The spasm cuts off blood flow through the artery. Spasms
can occur in coronary arteries that aren’t affected by 
atherosclerosis.





Causes:-




Heart attack is most commonly caused due to bad life
style. Coronary heart disease also plays vital role in heart attack. Coronary
heart disease is when your coronary arteries become narrowed by a gradual
build-up of fatty material within their walls.


If a piece of this fatty material breaks off it may
cause a blood blockage to form, which cuts off the flow of oxygen rich blood to
our heart muscle, this a heart attack.


There are many more causes of  heart attack:-



  1. ·       
    Many people have habit of eating too
    much of junk food which have oil and because of which blockage is created which
    cut off the supply of oxygen rich blood to the heart muscle.

  2. ·       
    People are very much addicted to smoking
    which also plays a vital in heart attack. People inhale smoke inside and which
    effect functioning of heart.

  3. ·       
    Today’s youth is too much attracted
    towards alcohol and consume it in great amount which not only effects our heart
    but our liver and many parts of our body.

  4. ·       
    Today everyone is busy in their work and
    hardly pay any attention to their health. Many don’t have time to do exercise
    and even to have their meals on time.

  5. ·       
    Work load is increasing on us day by day
    because of which our mind goes under the influence of stress which also
    increases the chances of heart attack.

  6. ·       
    Many people are in habit of consumption
    of too much salty food.








Symptoms:-




There are many symptoms of heart attack.



  1. ·       
    Chest
    pain or discomfort
    :- Most heart attack involve
    discomfort in the chest or left side of the chest.

  2. ·       
    Upper
    body discomfort
    :- during heart attack a person may feel
    pain in both the arms, the back, shoulders, neck, jaw, or upper part of the
    stomach.

  3. ·       
    Shortness
    of  breath
    :-
    this may occur before or along with chest pain or discomfort.

  4. ·       
    Breaking out in cold sweat.

  5. ·       
    A person may feel tired because of no reason may for many days continuously.

  6. ·       
    Nausea (feeling sick to the stomach) and
    vomiting.








Prevention:-




Living a healthy life style is most important for
all of us to keep these type of attacks away from us. It will prevent us from
developing coronary heart disease and having a heart attack.


If we want to prevent us from heart attack or from
future attacks then we must keep our heart healthy and take our prescribed
medicines on time.


Keeping our heart healthy whatever our age, is the
most important thing we can do to help prevent and manage heart disease.

    Eat
    healthy food
    :- we must always eat healthy and
    nourished food to keep our heart healthy.

  2. ·       
    Stay
    active
    :- we must stay active to keep our self fit and fine.

  3. ·       
    Take
    the 10 minute challenge
    :- always do exercise for short
    period that will be also very beneficial to our health.

  4. ·       
    Weight:-
    we must control our weight for that we must have a strict eye watch on our
    daily diet. Avoid eating too much junk food.

  5. ·       
    Smoking:-
    we all must quit our smoking habits to keep our heart fit and fine.

  6. ·       
    Alcohol:-
    stop the consumption of too much of alcohol. This not only effects our heart
    but also our liver and many parts of our body.

  7. ·       
    Stress:-
    have something entertaining in life. It will reduce the work stress from our
    mind and will lead to a free and healthy mind. Music will play a vital role to
    reduce the stress from mind.
