Medihope, an ayurvedic medicine developed by a company based in Pune has been granted a patent for its beneficial qualities cancer patients. Medihope is said to have the ability to help patients reduce side effects of chemotherapy in cancer treatment. It also improves platelet count in the blood among patients and increases the percentage of hemoglobin. It also reduces the pain of chemotherapy.

According to RDKatkar, chief executive of Hope Ayurvedic medicine Private Ltd., Medihope reduce side effects of chemotherapy, in which anticancer drugs (cytotoxic) are used to destroy cancer during the course of treatment cells. Medihope Notable results have been founded after 10 years of laboratory tests. The tests were carried out after more than 2,000 patients. After receiving the patent by the central government of India last year, the company now has 108 registered in other countries to patent the product as a special Ayurvedic medicine.
