NASA scientists believe they may have found the final resting place of a space probe in 1960, which was "the image of [last] century" before crashlanding on the far side of the Moon.

The information is presented in new images from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), sent to surround the moon under Bush administration plan for a return to manned satellite body as a precursor missions to Mars.
