But it also depends on the fact that which type of chocolate are you consuming, Milk, dark, or white? And which can worsen your skin?

Changes in hormones that could lead to inflammation are the problems that occur when high in sugar products are consumed. This happens mostly usually to people who are vulnerable to acne. Content of cocoa is relatively high in dark chocolate, it means that it contains procyanidin, catechin, flavonoids. This works as antioxidants and keep safe the body from cancer and other critical diseases.
So, can you say that chocolate causes acne? You can’t directly blame chocolates as the cause of acne, pimples, and breakouts. But surely, they are high on sugar and fats that could lead to the production of sebum in your body that finally in the end leads to pimples. So, to be on a safer side consumption of more seasonal fruits and vegetables that can help to clear up your system , and an inch of dark chocolate a day to limit your cravings.
