4. Avoid excessive caffeine intake, as it may affect the blood circulation and the sleep cycle.
Many people with RLS also suffer from anemia, which can be alleviated by adding more iron in your diet. Here is a tea which will help in this case:
- Ingredients
- A spoonful of chamomile flowers
- a spoonful of flower rosehips crushed
- a teaspoon of organic honey
- half a liter of boiled water
- Some lemon juice
- Preparation
1. Pour boiling water over the chamomile and rosehip flowers, then cover the bowl and leave for a couple of minutes.
2. Then strain the tea and add lemon juice and honey.
3. Drinking tea a couple of times during the day and again before going to bed.
RLS is often unrecognized or misdiagnosed. This is especially true if symptoms are intermittent or mild. Once correctly diagnosed, RLS can often be treated successfully.
