Meeting a man who seeks perfection sounds like sleep, but a new study by the University of Kent found that women whose partners is to be the best may be more likely to suffer from dysfunction under the sheets. In the study, 366 women under 30 who believed that surveys had investigated whether their expectations and beliefs about being intimate could affect their physical and life romantic encounters.
The researchers behind the experiment led to the results and divided them into four categories: self-oriented (the rules placed on women themselves), oriented partners (partners places rules on themselves), socio prescribe (standards they felt their partners put in them), and prescribe social (standards they felt were placed on them by society). The results revealed that women who rated their socio-prescribed level as perfectionists were more likely to suffer from dysfunction in the bedroom and have a lower overall quality of satisfaction with their partner.
That was just the beginning. Women who felt that their partners strive together perfectionism also found to have less self-esteem and anxiety associated with romantic activities. This means that a couple who strives to be perfect in their relationship is not doing it that way, but instead of casting unrealistic expectations about your significant other that makes them feel insecure and inadequate.
