Recently, a temple that is believed to have been built during the Tang dynasty in the 7th century, was chosen to be opened after being closed for many years to protect the inside .


the temple was opened on March 10 for displaying the beautiful interior. Because of the high value of many of the artifacts, remained closed to the public for preservation.



the temple consists of an amazing 2,300 caves, all of which are connected by magic.


in addition to the enormity, it is not believed that there are about 110,000 statues and artifacts inside as well.


This is how historians were able to trace the temple of the Tang dynasty; through the work of art.


Some of the statues are huge!


the sad reality is that many of the caves were damaged in the Cultural Revolution in China between 1966 and 1976.


However, with hard work and patience, many of the caves have been restored and are almost ready for display!
