If there is a time of day that always seem to drag and need a nap, which is always about 2: 00-3: 00 PM. I'd love to say I could just take a nap at this time (not all), but with a baby, working, and trying to keep a family nap is not really an option and I'm sure that ISN 't for you either. Here lately, I've been trying different things to help me be more alert during this time of day and I'm actually seeing some improvements. Let me know if any of these tips work for you or if you have any other advice you should add to this list as I am always looking for new ways to beat afternoon fatigue.

Avoid dehydration

This is something great for me! I can tell a big difference in my energy levels when I have stayed hydrated by drinking water from me and when I have. If I do not make a conscious effort to drink water throughout the day effort, it is very easy for me to forget and fill with food and drinks. To avoid fatigue, drink plenty of fluids as possible and remember to watch your drinks with caffeine as caffeine is natural dehydration.

have a breakfast full of fiber

Get in a quick workout

I do not mean going to the gym or work out for an hour. Just a simple 5-10 minutes of stretching, walking down the street, or simple exercises you can do in your office. A workout might even be taking the stairs instead of the elevator on the way back from lunch for an afternoon pick-up. I found a few minutes of exercise or a quick mini-workout, let me energized and ready to conquer the rest of the day.
