Mexican Cheeze Sauce or Dip (vegan)
warned that things would get cheezy this week. Today I'm sharing one of my favorite sauces cheeze. You can use this vegetarian gravy in many ways: for nachos, such as dipping, spraying on burritos and tacos, dolloped on a vegan potato to the loaded oven, or as a filling for quesadillas or sandwiches cheeze even grilled. Just 4 main ingredients (not including spices), a blender, and 2 minutes of your time separating him from oozy, melty, gooey said, cheezy ...
There are a lot of tasty cheese dairy free alternatives on the market today, but they are often quite expensive and mainly composed of oils and starches. You can make this delicious and healthy cheezy sauce for a fraction of the cost of store-bought alternatives. This recipe makes more than one cup of sauce CHEEZE for about $ 2. The same amount of CHEEZE nondairy bought in the store melted anout cost 4-5 times more.
I have tried several methods and different ingredients to make cheeze cheeze and sauce, and this is the fastest, easiest and most delicious. I always come back to cashews. You can make this sauce without nuts (see my notes below the recipe), but if you are able to eat them, certainly include cashews. Nutritional yeast and lemon juice are also a must for the most authentic cheese flavor.
I hope this post and my macaroni post was inspired to try some homemade salsa CHEEZE. Whether you give the cheese a long time, they are trying to cut out now, or even just want to reduce the amount you eat ... Definitely try this easy healthy salsa, CHEEZE a whirlwind.
Salsa Mexican Cheeze
1/3 cup cashews (soak for a few hours, preferably - for digestion and drain well, is not necessary if has a high-speed blender ..)
2/3 cup filtered water
1/4 cup sundried in olive oil (rinse mine) tomatoes
2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
Spices: 1/8 tsp cumin, plus a pinch of onion powder, garlic, chili powder and paprika, pepper - optional *
* can you omit the chili powder and cumin if you want a regular cheeze flavor (s ie for cHEEZE grill, etc.)
Instructions
- simply add all ingredients to blender and blend from low to high until completely smooth. smoother results are achieved with a Vitamix mixer or other high-power high speed, but it used to do this a lot with my blender, well, just be sure to soak cashews.
Notes:
For a sauce without nuts, just use my sauce macaroni CHEEZE recipe (using carrots and sweet potatoes) and skip cashews (you can omit hemp seeds also if desired). Reduce to 1/2 cup water increase nutritional yeast 1/2 cup and add 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Then add the spices above if you want to get a CHEEZE Mexican flavor.
