15 Limiting Beliefs That Aren’t Serving You or Anyone Else
Andrea Schulmanraise your vibration Today
For some reason, in our society we have created a lot of limiting beliefs that are not serving to nobody. These ideas have been expanded and combined to create a kind of mental prison that many of us have shut ourselves in.
often are afraid to take action and pursue our goals, because these limiting thoughts tell us we can not. So, instead of making decisions based on passion, interest or excitement, they tend to make many decisions based on fear.
Unfortunately, decision making based on limited beliefs we only He denies our power, and prevents us from creating our lives, and we really want them to be. To create all the things we want, we must believe in our power to do anything.
Take a look at this list of limiting beliefs. Do you think you're making any of your decisions today on the basis of these ideas? I'm still stuck in a few myself.

beliefs common limiting
# 1: "No is safe "
With risk comes reward! Playing it safe is more or less the most dangerous thing we can do if we want to have exciting, fulfilling and successful lives.
How is anyone supposed to fly to the moon if instead you decide to get an office job that really does not like, just so you can play it safe?
This is a big one. Most of us make many decisions based on what insurance
# 2:. "Only Fools Rush In"
Should not we be trusting and following our intuition even if it seems hasty?
have you ever made a snap decision to second base on a first impression that saved his life, like stray from their lane on the highway? It's so silly, or that listening to their orientation
If you feel a strong attraction to do something, why wait
# 3:? "love hurts "
If love hurts, it's what you really want?
I wonder how many people have been in relationships heartbreak because they believed it was love, because" love hurts. "
Why do we say love has to hurt? Do not we have relationships rather built on compassion and kindness
# 4: "The rich are greedy and evil"
This is a good belief limiting say to ourselves if you intend to never be rich! If being rich is "wrong" are never going to believe that we have a lot of money
# 5:. "You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you meet your prince"
it is what I really want to have to do this? Also, what about the high school sweethearts who are still together and happy after so many years
# 6: "Older people get sick / fall apart"
Sounds like fun. Why bother trying to live a long life, then? Would not it be better if all died at 30 as they did in the Middle Ages? It simply makes no sense for us to want to live a long life, while at the same time we believe that aging is a horrible, painful process
# 7:. "Beauty fades"
beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is subjective. It is not related to age, which is related to perception. All this belief is not the cause we are insecure as we age
# 8:. "It's a dog-eat-dog"
My guess is we're probably hanging around the wrong people then.
How many people endure toxic work environments because they believe that this behavior is normal? Why should not we be able to find opportunities where people work together in peace without all of the competition and backstabbing
No. 9: "Young people are stupid / old are wise "
There are a lot of magicians around children, and many adults fools. Our wisdom depends on how connected we are with infinite knowledge of the universe, not our birth date.
Young people are not all idiots and not all elderly people will give wise counsel. Listen to those who have words connect with your soul, regardless of their position in life. Do not miss great advice advice because someone is young or have a bad advice from someone else.
In addition, if you are young and who knows what he is talking about, do not let anyone convince you otherwise.
# 10: "you have to get a college degree to succeed"
Well, as many people have pointed out, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, all they did very well without it. So did Maya Angelou and Jennifer Aniston.
Moreover, it is that I have a college degree, but the only job I've had since I graduated requiring that was my job as a teacher, and we all know how financially successful are masters these days. Do not misunderstand me, I loved college and I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to attend, but the title is not responsible for the successes in my life.
Our successes come from us, not of a piece decorated paper. There is no single path we must take to achieve success
#. 11: "Save your money"
Why? We can not take with us. That and the money is not exactly even real. It is abstract, value ranges and most of the money "in" our bank accounts is not even physically stored anywhere. It is nothing more than an illusion (albeit convincing!).
Why do so many choices in our lives based on the lack of an illusion? For more information on this belief and how we can begin to let go of it, check out this article
# 12:. "Try your hardest"
If we try with all our might, we are unlikely to go with the flow.
we all know that trying too hard is a sure way to bombard your job interview or being rejected by the girl cute you're trying to collect. So why do we tell ourselves we have to try so hard
# 13: "Life is short"
How about "are eternal" instead
# 14: "Fear God" (for my religious friends)
NO most religions describe God as all-loving and all you accept? Why not "love God" instead
# 15: "Fear of death"
Many people who have experienced the closest experience to death describes death as a wonderful experience. What if death in this life simply gives birth to an even better life? If we want to be philosophical about it, we could even argue that someone should be excited about death!
would be much easier to create wonderful lives if we think of ourselves as limitless, omnipotent and eternal creators, you could do anything. When we choose to hold on to the limiting beliefs as above, just we cut our wings and give us reasons not to follow our intuition or pursue our dreams.
To put aside these beliefs, all you have to do is be open to entertain a different perception of reality, and then look for some evidence to support it. We all have the ability to believe what we believe, if we are willing to keep an open mind and do a little searching.
If you think you are ready to go after the goals in life that do not he has pursued, maybe it's time to start peeling back the layers of limiting beliefs. Escape from this mental prison that many of us are stuck in. Believe in your ability to be the creator of powerful, eternal than you really are.
