There is No Yoga Without Love
Yoga has lost its essence, its basic meaning, of what was originally intended to be. It is wonderful that what is popularly known as the yoga has reached millions of people, such as physical practices are brilliant in promoting health and well-being, but this is a bit like having a small portion of the delicious cake and think you have the whole pie. There is so much more cake to go, as the immensity of yoga leads us to deepen our understanding of the totality of ourselves.Unfortunately, very popularity of yoga has led to the loss of key ingredient: love. Without love, yoga is dry, a physical and mental exercise that really do not touch our inner being. It lacks what yoga is meant to authenticity around, which is a direct way of our potential, our creative nature, our pure understanding and transcendence. We can read all the books and know the teachings, such as closures, yoga sutras, and specifically the Bhagavad Gita, but these only point the way and are not enough to wake up.
Love, yoga fills life, opening the heart wide, with compassion, kindness awakening, joy, generosity, caring and laughter. True joy, the heart of yoga, is love. Love reveals the way to live in truth.
If you are doing it to look better or lose weight, then it may be good, but it is not yoga. If this is a kind of exercise or social event for fun, then it is not yoga. But if you're in touch with your heart, if you are reaching deep into his being and revealing the goodness of what you are, if you get an idea of what is possible, then you are savoring the beauty of yoga. If you feel the joy and peace beyond understanding, that is yoga!
Instead of fighting for perfect posture awkward-looking, we learn to transform our mind and emotions and deeply connect with our being inside. Ultimately, this leads to awakening, the discovery of what we really are, free from obsessive identification with the ego. On the way to the awakening is the heart.
Opening the heart as big as the universe is one of the most powerful experiences of life. The heart is the center of our being, the place we note that when we refer to ourselves. And it is the center of love. The purpose of yoga is to realize our true being authentic rather than focusing on selfish and superficial self we interact daily. So we must be in love - we have to be in the heart
do not have to go looking for that love, or fear of giving away so much that we have none left.. We can never lose the love; we can only lose sight. Love could not happen if it was no longer an integral part of what we are. How can we lose what is our nature? How can we stay with nothing when love is the source of life? This is the embrace without fear of ourselves and all others, friends and enemies alike.
"When we complete the journey to our own heart, we will be in the hearts of all others." Father Thomas Keating, of our book, "Be the change"
This is seen in the next Native American story of a child who is learning the lessons of his father's life. "There are two wolves fighting each other in my heart," says his father. "The first wolf is angry, jealous, dishonest, bitter and hateful. The second wolf is kind, caring, compassionate, generous and honest." The child asks which of the wolves win the fight. His father answers: "I chose to feed."
we have recently led to Sunday morning service in our local Church Unity. At the end of our conversation, speakers, arrived famous Beatles song "All You Need Is Love". The only way out of the political madness, confusion and suffering world is love. Yes, what the world needs now is love
"When you entered once fully the realm of love, the world - no matter how imperfect - becomes rich and beautiful, it consists only opportunities for love. " - Kierkegaard
