Ever wondered why women were asked they tend to prefer higher when choosing a couple men? A study has the answer. According to a study of Konkuk University in Seoul, he found that couples with a large height difference to have the happiest women. The study was published in the journal Personality and Individual Differences revealed that the greater the difference in height in a couple, the woman was happier. The study was based on data collected from 7,850 women a survey of long-term population. "Although it has been known that women prefer tall men in mating for evolutionary reasons, no studies have investigated whether higher husband makes happier his wife," said researcher Kitae Sohn, of Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea. "A major difference in height in a pair is positively related to happiness of women." Sohn noted that women evolved to prefer tall men because they were perceived as stronger and women naturally are happy when they have what they like. This happiness because of the height difference however does not last forever. According to the researcher, happiness between height and happiness gradually weakens over time and completely dissipated by the 18-year marriage. Guys, now we know why the women prefer taller men.
