GETTING A RING STUCK ON YOUR FINGER IS SCARY! I ALWAYS FREAK OUT WHEN I CAN’T GET MY RING OFF AND MAKE MY FINGERS SWELL EVEN MORE! THEY GO BRIGHT RED AND THE HARDER YOU YANK, THE MORE IT HURTS! YOU PULL AND PULL, BUT IT JUST SEEMS TO GET TIGHTER!

There are some things you can try, that most of us know about, like using butter to get the ring to slide off, some even claim that using soap can work….but for us, it never does, it just ends up rubbing our skin, making it chapped and sore.

My hands and fingers always seem to change in warm weather and I notice how much they swell. It starts to panic me at night when I can’t get my rings off, I even have horrible visions of my finger falling off, or that I will have to have it amputated! Dramatic, maybe, but it doesn’t seem to stop me from thinking it!
