Cinnamon is also very helpful in lowering the Blood Pressure.
It is easily available in the market and can easily be accommodated in your
daily diet. This small change in the diet can have a positive impact on the
blood pressure, especially in individuals who also have Diabetes. You can just
sprinkle the cinnamon powder on your food or even in your coffee or tea.
Ginger-Cardamom
Tea
Intake of Cardamom and Ginger on a regular basis can
significantly lower the blood pressure levels. Therefore, their combination is
very healthy for your heart. You can easily make Ginger and Cardamom Tea at
home. This is not only very healthy but also very spicy and keeps you warm.
Take 1 teaspoon of Cardamom pods and crush them to
release oil. To this add half teaspoon ginger powder. Then add half cup water,
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, half cup milk and one and half tablespoon black
tea. Boil this mixture in a sauce pan for at least 7-8 minutes or until the
mixture colour becomes caramel brown. Add few drops of honey and strain.
You can take Ginger and Cardamom Tea 1-2 times a day for
best results.
Coconut
Water
It is very important for people with high blood pressure to
keep themselves hydrated. They should drink minimum 8-10 glasses of water every
day. Coconut Water not only helps in keeping the body hydrated but also reduces
the levels of Blood Pressure.
You can drink coconut water daily to manage Blood
pressure levels and also use coconut oil while cooking to get the maximum
benefit. Coconut water also helps in replenishment of electrolytes in the body.
Honey
Honey functions as a natural calming agent for blood
vessels of the body and aids in the management of Blood pressure.
You can have 2 teaspoons of honey every morning on empty
stomach. You can also add 1 teaspoon of honey to your Ginger-Cardamom tea to
get the most benefit. You can also try the mixture of equal amounts of honey
with Ginger Juice or Basil Juice on empty stomach daily.
