Ingredients

1 potato
2 pieces of gauze (gauze can be purchased here)

Directions

Wash and peel tomatoes as you normally would and should use a grater and mash the potatoes to have enough for two large bags of their eyes.

Once you mash the potatoes, put them in two separate pieces of gauze. I did not gauze, so I had to order from amazon.com.

Place each under the eyes and lie down for about 15-20 minutes. Once the time is up, wipe away any residue. Repeat if necessary throughout the week.

Update: Another way to use this recipe would be to create a paste out of it. I have found that it is faster than using the method of gauze, and is equally effective. Instead of putting potatoes in cheesecloth, mix the potato and potato skin to create a paste. Apply the paste under the eyes and leave for 5-10 minutes. Do this every day for best results.
