Short, stubby, unhealthy looking nails or nails that just won't grow past your fingertips are unappealing. If you prefer long, gorgeous fingernails without spending tons of money on acrylic and fake nails, there are lots of ways to have healthy, natural nails and to improve their appearance. Tips to get Strong Nails-


1. Olive Oil
Olive oil is an excellent remedy for weak nails. The oil helps moisturize the nails. It also helps repair damage and softens nails and cuticles, which in turn leads to strong and healthy nails.
Massage your nails thoroughly with some warm olive oil, covering both the top and underside of your nails. Wait 15 minutes, then wash it off with water. Do this 2 or 3 times daily.
Alternatively, mix together 3 teaspoons of warm olive oil and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply this mixture to your nails using a cotton swab. Allow it to dry, then put on a pair of soft, cotton gloves. Do this daily before going to bed, and in the morning, rinse it off with warm water.

 Many beauty websites and magazines tout specific foods or supplements. There is little to no evidence that most of these work. In general, a balanced diet with plenty of vitamins and minerals from food should be enough to avoid nail problems. Some people may benefit from calcium, iron, zinc, or vitamin B supplements, but only if their diet is low in these substances. Talk to your doctor for more information.
Don't believe myths about gelatin or garlic strengthening nails. These have no noticeable effect when eaten or used to soak the nails.


3.Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is another versatile ingredient that can repair and strengthen damaged nails. Its antiseptic property helps prevent and treat fungal infections that are often the cause of weak and brittle nails. It can also help get rid of discolored or yellow nails.
Put a few drops of tea tree oil in a small bowl of warm water. Soak your nails in this solution for 3 minutes, a few times a week.
Alternatively, prepare a solution with ½ teaspoon of vitamin E oil or jojoba oil and 4 or 5 drops of tea tree oil. Apply this solution on your nails and massage gently for a few minutes. Allow it to dry, then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this once a week.


4.Don't biting nails
If you can't stop biting your nails then trace your hand onto a piece of paper and give some nails of your desired length. Every day put your hand against it and as soon as your nails grow as much as on the piece of paper, paint them in a gorgeous new color. This method is very rewarding, and after this you will be admiring your gorgeous new nails all through the day. You will feel so proud of yourself.


5. Vitamin E Oil
Vitamin E oil is another good remedy for stronger nails. Its moisturizing property helps keep your nails hydrated and healthy.
Break open a vitamin E capsule to extract the oil.
Apply the oil on your nails and massage gently for a few minutes.
Do this daily before going to bed for a few weeks.
