4 Methods of Accessing the Most Creative Forces of Your Mind

Frank M. Wanderer Ph.D.
Waking Times

We have read and heard several times that does not use the full capacity of our brain, only a fragment of the forces of our mind are used in our daily lives. Full use of the potential of our mind would, however, add to our personality of immense creative force. Therefore, the question arises, how we are able to access the creative forces of our mind?

In the captivity of Mind

The creative force the mind can only be accessed at the present moment, in the here and now. We need to live in the present moment and concentrate our energies at the present time in order to really be able to live our life to the fullest, to be present in life, and to access the creative forces of the mind. We are only able to enjoy the happiness and pleasure of real moment in the present. If our mind is wandering the paths of past or future, opportunities open to us in the present moment is closed and will not be able to access the creative forces of the mind. Instead, we find in the captivity of the mind.

Being in the captivity of the mind means that we are well prisoners of our past, or we live under the spell of an imaginary future. If most of our waking hours our thoughts are bound by the past from the future, in most cases we will not be able to act when necessary, the possibilities of this.

in most cases, our mind is locked in the prison of the past for an event whose result is unpleasant for us. Our thoughts go to that event in the past, we would like to change the course of events, or worry about what others might think of us because of our inappropriate behavior at the last moment.

Another way to become prisoners it is when our mind puts the spell of an imaginary future, or the idyllic image of a desired state on us. Then we mobilize all our energies to make these images come true, and they tend to go through the opportunities offered by this almost blindly.

Yet another way the mind uses for chain for our future is our constant concern about what will happen to us in the future. We are afraid of, or even fear the future, our minds constantly produce scenarios whose results are disastrous for us. We lose our job, we get sick, our partner leaves us, etc.

One characteristic dimension of the captivity of the mind is that the mind is usually rejection, or even hostile, to the present moment. We often think that this or that should not happen that way, I should be somewhere else now, in a much better place. Why this kind of things only happen to me all the time? Our mind is thus in a constant struggle with the present, and that same struggle is what keeps us in captivity.

Living in the prison of the mind, we are not in control of our lives, just drift between the illusions generated by the mind, and in most cases we are not able to act in the present moment.

access to the creative powers of the mind

let's take a look at some methods that we can allow access to the creative forces of the mind, and at the same time can help us free ourselves from the captivity of the mind.

1. We need to get beyond the past. No one has been able to change the past, so all the energy we use to reflect on the past energy is wasted. Instead, that energy is concentrated at present, be alert and aware in relation to everything that we are living in the present moment.

2. Do not be afraid of the future because the future is not a reality, it is just a projection of the mind. There is only the present moment. What is our present and our imagined future will be like, too far.

3. You can only make our future plans become reality through our present actions. It is only in the present moment that we can do which will affect our future. Be careful, however, not sacrificing the opportunities present on the altar of an imaginary future or the image of an ideal situation. If we are truly present in the here and now, and we can be happy there, we will not have any problems with that in the future either. Future is only a present moment, too.

4. Let us accept the present moment as it is, not fight it. They do not look at the present moment as an enemy, and not make a judgment on it. Give up the fight, and just be simply present in the here and now. Turn with attention conscious and alert to what is happening before our eyes at present
