Recently, the Journal of Dental Research published a study in which a new technique of tissue regeneration can help in the regeneration pearly white teeth.

Dr. Jeremy Mao, Professor Edward V. Zegarellu of Dental Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, explains that a three-dimensional scaffold with growth factor has the potential to regenerate and regrow the anatomically correct teeth within just nine weeks later implantation.

the procedure was developed in the Laboratory of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine at the University. In the process, the body's own stem cells go into the scaffold, which is composed of all natural materials.
