Ulcers that occur in small intestine are known by name of peptic ulcer. Ulcers in small intestine mainly occur in age of 25 to 45. Gastric ulcers occur 4 times less than duodenal ulcers. 




SYMPTOMS

After eating food a person may feel pain around stomach, navel and chest. Vomiting after food or due to full digestion of food pain may calm down or end. Expanding of stomach, burning, nervousness and not interesting in doing any work are some symptoms of this disease.

CAUSES

In Ayurveda its causes are considered misbalancing of phlegm, vata, pitta etc.  Due to problem in vata we face pain during digestion. This problem occurs due to more consumption of spicy food, coffee, wine etc. this may occurs due to infection also. Due to more intakes of pain killers 30% people suffers from gastritis ulcers. Smoking causes more gastric ulcer.




WHAT TO EAT

1. Eating Amla jam, pumpkin etc. is beneficial.

2. Drink cold milk of cow.

3. Eat banana and pomegranate.

4. Drink coconut water.

5. Use more rock salt in food.

6. Eat aniseed and candy sugar.




WHAT NOT TO DO

1. Avoid things made of fine flour.

2. Do not eat sesame and jaggery.

3. Do not eat germinated cereals.

4. Stay away from meat.

5. Avoid tea, coffee, smoking, betel and tobacco.




WHAT TO DO

1. Eat on time.

2. Do not live empty stomach for long and do overeat also at a time.

3. Everyday take sleep of 7 to 8 hours at least.

4. Do anulom, vilom, sheetali, bhramri pranayama, shvasan, yoga etc.

5. Always live smiling and happily and listen songs.




REMARKS   

This disease can be tested with help of symptoms, physical remarks and important symptoms like endoscopy.
