Ingredients

1/2 pound fresh strawberries, plus more for garnish
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
set 3/4 to 1 cup of milk
malted milk 1 tablespoon powdered milk or regular powder (optional)
1 pint of strawberry ice cream

Instructions

1. Gather your ingredients. Make sure you are using an excellent strawberry ice cream. No false flavors! No dye! If they do, remove some milk or malted milk powder.

2. Hull the strawberries and slice. Sprinkle sugar over them and stir in vanilla. Place berries in the freezer for about an hour.

3. Put two glasses of beer (or four smaller vessels) in the freezer to chill.

4. When strawberries are frozen solid, remove them and put them in the blender with 3/4 cup of milk. (Make sure scraped around the syrupy juice that has accumulated in the bottom of the cup.) Mix until strawberries are sprayed. No large pieces remaining at all.

5. Add malted milk powder and mix. (Note: malted milk powder gives a little depth and a hint of malty flavor without turning toss in a real malt If you choose to use milk regularly dust this is also just add a little richness and creaminess but .. powders are not required.)

6. Take the blender motor, and add whole pint of ice cream. Stir in milk and strawberries by hand. Turn the bottle back into the engine and mix well. If not mix very well or gets stuck, carefully add as much as 1/4 cup more milk. Shake or mix if necessary.

7. Pour the batter out into the chilled glasses and garnish with strawberries. Slurp immediately!

Additional notes:
• This makes 2 large or small, beaten 4 (about 32 ounces).
