Not long ago, I found myself facing the feeling mirror and looking completely defeated. After being subjected to washing makeup day out, my face appeared red and blotchy, covered with stains and scars.
The tears started running down my cheeks as I looked at myself in the eye for the first time in a long time. At that moment, I realized that I was missing love - all I wanted was to be and feel loved, not punished, control and manipulate perfection.
The struggle with acne has been a continuous journey for me working my way through the winding road since 2011. He had tried everything (natural and artificial) to cure my skin, but was never released full of struggle, living in constant anxiety about my skin, always worry about how it looked, constantly touching and prodding.
But looking in the mirror at night, I gave up. He was tired of shame and guilt, to feel ugly and dirty. And I realized that the only way to cure my skin was first heal my relationship with myself. He had come to realize that I have been dancing the tango with the chimera of perfection for thirteen years: The perfect body (fueled by anxiety and eating disorders around food) and perfect skin.
Pema Chodron once said. "Nothing disappears until teaches us what we need to know" It was not until recently that I finally learned the lesson that my body had been trying to tell me all these years and you're perfect, born in this perfect world and the only way things go wrong is when we try to control our life from a scary place.
In my heart, I felt it. I was trying to control my body weight and food, and ended with autoimmune. He tried to have me perfect skin and obsesses me, the worse it became my skin. What I have learned is that the healing of our bodies and our skin is not just about what we put on our face or the food we eat. It is to bring ourselves back into balance again in harmony with ourselves, in the three elements of our existence :. Body, mind and spirit
Here are seven steps that have helped to get back to wholeness, back to health, back to the light.
Eat whole foods, real land.
organic vegetables. local and seasonal fruits. Lean meats and wild salmon. Clean water, throughout the day. Try to eat at regular meal times to keep the digestive system f UNCTIONING optimally balanced hormones . Skipping meals is a big no, as this throws seriously out of the endocrine system and hormones, especially in women.
ancient Eat foods that are time-tested to help heal our bodies.
Think algae spirulina , chlorophyll, fermented vegetables, broth. bone broth is a great remedy to cure the body from the inside out, repair of the mucosa of the entire digestive system, which in turn creates the basis for clear, radiant skin .
Move your body every day.
All you need is 20 minutes a day of circulation to notice big changes in your body and mind. Go running outside with your favorite music. Take a yoga class. Doing high intensity training at home. Try Pilates. Go to rotate with your friends. Beat the crap out of a punching bag in kickboxing. There are so many options and there is no room for excuses not to move their powerful body.
Using Emotional Freedom Technique.
EFT has been a powerful tool (and easy!) To help deal with uncomfortable emotions, such as shame, guilt, depression, coming working with acne. The irony is that those emotions will cause stress on the body and throw hormones out of balance, causing more skin rashes. Clear the emotions, calm the body and reduce systemic inflammation.
Get comfortable with affirmations.
One of my friends taught me a statement that I implemented in my life not long ago: Try it, all day, "I love my beautiful clear skin." everyday. If you want to work faster affirmation, I do it in front of the mirror. Look into your own eyes and affirm life to create.

Seriously. Just close your eyes. Feel the tension and stress that is within you ... and just let it go. The universe wants things to go our way - which is designed to be on our side. However, when we start trying to control our realities, things go wrong.
Just give a higher power, whatever that is for you, and allow the anxiety and stress that fall from the shoulders to carry the full weight of this alone. Stop obsessing in the mirror. Stop collecting. Stop changing product. Use simple healing natural ingredients. Create a ritual of skin care. Let the universe handle the rest.
