Because cancer is a disease caused by abnormal growth of cells in certain body part , prostate cancer is the abnormal growth of cells in the prostate.

Medication Some studies have found there may be a link between daily use of anti-inflammatory drugs and risk of prostate cancer. One study also found that statins, drugs used to lower cholesterol, may reduce the risk of prostate cancer.
Obesity One study found a clear link between obesity and increased risk of prostate cancer as well as an increased risk of metastasis and death among obese men who develop prostate cancer.
