Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York City has requested a public hearing on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, which recommends that all children under five whose parents want them to attend day care be vaccinated with the annual flu shot and pneumococcal vaccines before they are accepted.

according to the "state of foundation and reason," these vaccines are needed because children serve as an important source of transmission in communities. The statement reads:

"The flu causes an estimated 200,000 hospitalizations and an average of 36,000 (range) from 3.000 to 49.000 deaths annually in the United States (CDC, 2010) Approximately 20,000 hospitalizations and 30-150. deaths occur in children under 5 years of age each year. children tend to have the highest rates of attack of the flu, which can be as high as 40%, and children serve as an important source of transmission within communities . Each year, it is estimated that 15% -42% of flu contract preschoolers, and 38 million school days are lost due to illness influenza (CDC / National Center for Health Statistics, 1999) ".

In other words, the mayor believes that all children under five years old who attend day care centers should be vaccinated with both influenza vaccine and pneumococcal vaccine to protect " herd immunity ". [1]

Not only is this irresponsible policy and a total waste of taxpayer money, especially when there are more urgent issues affecting the lives of children living in the US today, but it is also highly dangerous.

Do they not know that there were 7.4 million children living in extreme poverty in America in 2010? Now it has been estimated that every 21 seconds an American child born in poverty. Surely provide food and adequate shelter for the hungry children would be more beneficial than forcing them to vaccinate even more useless and dangerous vaccines, according to my research, may not even not even be supported! this indicates that the mayor has suggested that both the vaccine intramuscularly administered or nasal vaccine could be used without even checking if they were both compatible with pneumococcal vaccines. in fact, I doubt that this concern is even considered as a possibility for the mayor when he decided that children as young as six months should receive both vaccines before attending care centers day. Conclusion

Surely, unless the mayor of the city of New York is a doctor or qualified scientist should not be recommending force vaccination of children from six months, no matter how good your intentions, especially because the two vaccines are recommending are possibly completely incompatible and could possibly lead to multiple deaths child New York city and throughout the United States.
